Curraha made the short journey to Duleek for their third game of their league campaign.
The hosts opened the scoring after 3 minutes, but Curraha dominated the opening quarter. Diarmuid Moriarty levelled the scores after an excellent run, and a Sean Keogh free pushed Curraha in front soon after, with Duleek/Bellewstown then pointing from a free. The visitors were dominating possession at this point but a number of wides and efforts dropped short meant the scoreboard failed to reflect some good approach play.
Sean Keogh scored another free in the 19th minute, but the final ten minutes of the half was a real purple patch for the hosts as they registered 6 points in this period. Curraha's only score in this period was an excellent Luke Farrell point from out near the right touchline, leaving the hosts ahead by 8 points to 4 at half-time.
Diarmuid Moriarty registered the first score after the restart following some great work by Conor Joyce and Sean Keogh. He added another soon after, and struck his 4th point in the 14th minute of the half following a great ball from substitute Evan McGovern. With Curraha very much on top at this point, the hosts managed to register two crucial scores to push them back in front. In the 20th minute, a long ball into the square was flicked home by Conor Moriarty to give Curraha the lead for the first time in the game. The hosts responded well and knocked over 2 quickfire points to regain the lead. Curraha pushed forward to try and find and level the scores, but were punished on the break with two late scores from the hosts killing off any chance of a comeback
