Curraha travelled to Dunderry on St.Patrick's Day to face Dunderry in the second game of the league.

Curraha got off to a flyer, with Mark Phelan knocking over a point inside the opening 30 seconds. Dunderry had the advantage of a strong wind in the 1st half, and they used this to good effect as they registered the next four scores. Curraha responded well and came back into the game. Sean Keogh kicked their second score of the game, Neil Shortall got a nice point following a quick free from Conor Moriarty, and Andrew Coyle scored a fine effort from a tight angle to level the scores after 10 minutes. A Moriarty point edged the 'Ha in front 5 minutes later, with the hosts responding with 2 points of their own. Shortall fired over his second point, followed by a long range score from Niall Murphy. A Dunderry free just before half-time left the sides level at the break, 0-7 to 0-7.

Dunderry struck first in the second half with an early free, quickly followed by a point from Keogh after claiming a good mark. The second half was a scrappy affair compared to the more open first half, and scores were proving hard to come by. All 6 of Dunderry's second half scores came from placed balls. Curraha had points from Luke Farrell, Moriarty and Keogh again to leave them 2 points down going into injury time. Farrell fired over another to leave the minimum between the sides, but they just couldn't manage to find the equalising score.

Curraha were unlucky to see the result slip away from them after a very positive first half display. With a number of players to return in the coming weeks, the performances are encouraging and results are sure to follow. This game also saw Sean Ronan come on for his first taste of competitive adult football
