Curraha made the trip to Ballivor for Round 5 of the league, looking to get back on track following defeat last time out against Slane.
Brian Joyce got the visitors off to a positive start with a two-point effort, before Ruairí O’Sullivan found the net to give Curraha the perfect start. Ballivor responded with the next two points to gain a foothold in the match, but Curraha pushed on with scores from Andrew Coyle, Oisín Fay, and a brilliant effort from close to the sideline by Conor Joyce.
Half-time: Curraha 1-6 Ballivor 0-2
Curraha continued to dominate into the second half, and that was reflected on the scoreboard. It was a hard-hitting affair, with the referee producing a number of cards, but Curraha were not distracted and pulled away as the half wore on.
Brian Joyce added two more points to his tally, while Coyle chipped in with four more. Conor Joyce found the back of the net for Curraha’s second goal, with O’Sullivan and Pádraig O’Hanrahan also adding points.
